Who you pay

Using CasePilot costs you nothing. You pay the lawyer directly — for the consultation and any further work.
Why it works this way
CasePilot runs a directory of lawyers and a booking system. We're not a law firm, and we don't hold clients' money. Any engagement is between you and the lawyer: the advice, the fee and the professional liability are theirs.
How you pay
You agree how and when to pay with the lawyer. Nothing is paid on CasePilot for a consultation, and we will never ask you to pay by card.
Cancellations and refunds
The lawyer sets the terms for cancelling, moving and refunds. Agree them in advance — ideally before the consultation.
Tip
At the first consultation, ask the lawyer what any further work would cost.
