Help
Straight answers about how CasePilot works — for people looking for a lawyer, and for lawyers considering a profile. For anything not covered here, the Help Center goes deeper.
Finding, contacting, and working with a lawyer through CasePilot.
Yes — completely. Browsing profiles, sending inquiries, requesting bookings, and chatting with your lawyer cost nothing, and CasePilot takes no commission on legal work. You pay your lawyer directly for the legal services themselves; consultation payments never go through CasePilot.
Open a lawyer's profile, choose a date and time in the booking calendar, and describe your matter in a few sentences. You'll need a free client account, and you confirm the Terms of Service before sending. The request starts as pending — the lawyer accepts or declines it, and you'll see the status in your dashboard.
Online booking and chat are part of lawyers' paid plans, so not every profile has them. Every profile does have Send inquiry: a short form with your name, email, and message (plus an optional attachment) that goes straight to the lawyer — no account needed. The lawyer replies to your email directly.
After the lawyer accepts your booking request. Contact details are private until then and appear inside the booking detail once it's accepted. This protects both sides — lawyers aren't flooded with spam, and your own contact information is treated the same way.
Chat unlocks once a lawyer accepts your booking — you'll find the conversation in your dashboard under Messages. Some lawyers switch chat off and prefer email or phone; in that case you'll still have their direct contact details from the accepted booking.
Each profile shows the lawyer's hourly rate and, where offered, a fixed price or free first consultation. What you agree with the lawyer is between the two of you — CasePilot adds nothing on top. As a rough market picture: experienced Czech attorneys commonly charge between 1 500 and 4 500 Kč per hour depending on city and specialisation.
Read the full pricing guide →That our team has manually reviewed the lawyer's documents — their Bar association ID and a government-issued ID — and confirmed their registration as an attorney with the Czech Bar Association. It is not a guarantee of outcomes and not an endorsement of specific advice; it verifies who the lawyer is, not how your case will end.
How verification works →Yes — with a client account you can rate a lawyer from one to five stars and add a comment. Lawyers can post one public reply to each review, and they choose whether reviews are displayed on their profile at all. If you see a review that's fake or abusive, report it and a person on our team will look at it.
Not for an inquiry — the Send inquiry form works without any registration. You do need a free client account for booking requests, chat, and reviews, because those run through your dashboard and the lawyer needs to know who the request comes from.
Use the Report a Problem page for anything from a bug to a profile that misstates qualifications. Every report is read by a person on our team. For concerns about an attorney's professional conduct, the Czech Bar Association also runs its own complaints process, and we can point you to it.

Nothing. The Free plan is free forever: you get a public profile, you appear in search, and clients can reach you through inquiries. Signing up takes a few minutes, your profile is live immediately, and CasePilot never takes a commission on your legal work.
See how joining works →Premium costs 1 250 Kč per month, or 12 500 Kč per year (two months free). It adds online booking with your own availability calendar, real-time chat with clients, calendar sync, profile analytics, email notifications, priority placement above free profiles in listings, every client inquiry included, and eligibility for the Verified badge at no extra fee.
You see the full text of every inquiry immediately. The sender's name, email, phone, and any attachment stay locked until you unlock that inquiry for a one-time 650 Kč — the unlock is permanent, even if you later change plans. On Premium and Enterprise, every inquiry is included with nothing to unlock.
No. You bill your clients directly and keep all of it. CasePilot's revenue is the subscription and inquiry unlocks — never a percentage of your fees, and we never sit between you and your client's payment.
On a paid plan, you submit your Bar registration number plus a copy of your Bar association ID and a government-issued ID from your dashboard. Our team reviews submissions manually — typically within two business days — and checks the registration against the Czech Bar Association's public register. If a submission is declined, you get a written reason and can resubmit. Your registration number is never displayed publicly.
What the badge covers →The moment you finish the four-step signup. Your username becomes your public address — casepilot.cz/lawyers/your-name — and your profile appears in search right away. There's no waiting period or approval queue for the profile itself; verification is a separate, optional step.
You decide whether reviews are displayed at all — the switch is in your dashboard, and for new accounts reviews start hidden until you turn them on. You can also post one public reply to each review. Reviews you believe are fake or abusive can be reported to our team.
Enterprise is for law firms: a firm profile with multiple lawyers under it, a practice-manager role so authorised staff can handle bookings and messages, and dedicated support. It's set up with us directly rather than by self-service checkout — get in touch and we'll walk through your firm's setup.
Contact us about Enterprise →Requests land in your dashboard as pending, with the client's description of the matter. You accept or decline; on acceptance the client receives your contact details and chat opens. Your availability calendar controls which slots clients can request — including blocked dates and busy times from a synced external calendar.
Yes, any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep Premium features until then, and your profile simply continues on the Free plan afterwards.
