Terms of Service

CasePilot is an online platform that helps people in the Czech Republic find verified lawyers, book consultations, and communicate with them. We are an intermediary — we do not ourselves provide legal services. Legal services are provided directly by the lawyers listed on the platform under their own professional responsibility.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Czech law to use CasePilot. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential.

Lawyers must be authorised to practise law in the Czech Republic. We may request your bar number and other documents for verification. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that do not meet these requirements.

When you send a booking request, you are proposing to enter into a separate professional engagement directly with the lawyer. The lawyer is free to accept, decline, or propose a new time. CasePilot facilitates the connection but is not a party to the legal services agreement between you and the lawyer.

Lawyers may purchase a paid subscription to access additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment provider, Stripe. Detailed terms are set out in our Subscription Terms.

Clients do not pay CasePilot directly for finding or contacting lawyers on the platform. Any fees for legal services are agreed separately between the client and the lawyer.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation.
• Send spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing through the messaging system.
• Attempt to access, copy, or scrape data you are not authorised to access.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its security features.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile text or reviews) and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it as part of the service. Reviews must be honest and based on a real interaction. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

We make reasonable efforts to verify the credentials of lawyers listed on CasePilot. However, you remain responsible for choosing a lawyer and for any agreement you enter into with them. Always satisfy yourself that the lawyer is qualified and suitable for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by Czech law, CasePilot is not liable for the legal advice, services, or conduct of lawyers on the platform. We provide the platform "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Our liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid to CasePilot in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users or the platform. Provisions that are by their nature meant to survive termination — such as liability limits — will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. The Czech courts will have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from your use of CasePilot, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may give you additional rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of CasePilot after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
