How to cancel a consultation

You can cancel an accepted consultation at any time, and the lawyer is told straight away.

How to cancel
Sign in and open the booking under Bookings.
Choose Cancel booking.
Add a short reason if you like — a calendar clash, for example. It's optional.
Confirm with Cancel booking.
What happens next
You and the lawyer both get an email, Consultation cancelled, with a file that removes it from your calendar. The booking shows Cancelled.
Important
CasePilot charges nothing for cancelling. Whether the lawyer asks for anything for a late cancellation depends on what you agreed with them.
Tip
If it's just the time that doesn't work, you don't have to cancel — propose another time.
