When someone doesn't show up
Updated 5 Oct 2026 · 1 min read
A consultation is an agreement between you and the lawyer. If one of you can't make it, it's best to say so as early as you can.

If you can't make it
If you know you won't be there, cancel or propose another time, and the lawyer is told straight away. If you're only running late, send them a message on the booking.
If the lawyer doesn't appear
Message them on the booking first. If it was a phone consultation, try calling the number they were going to call you from.
What happens next — a new time, say — is for the two of you to agree. Do tell us at support@casepilot.cz, though, so we know what happened.
Important
If you can't reach an agreement with the lawyer, you can turn to the Czech Bar Association.
