When a lawyer declines

Updated 5 Oct 2026 · 1 min read

A lawyer can decline a booking request — because they're fully booked, say, or don't handle your kind of case. They don't have to give a reason.

On this page

What you'll see

You'll get an email, Your booking request was declined, and the booking will show Declined. The request wasn't accepted, so no time or place was set. You pay nothing and there's nothing else to do.

Where to go next

Other lawyers on CasePilot work in the same areas. The email has a Find another lawyer button, or start again on the Lawyers page.

Tip

Not sure who to ask? Send an inquiry — the lawyer will tell you whether they can help.
